Project Spotlight: Solar Forecast & Dashboard
I installed solar panels to save money but quickly realized the vendor app and my electric bill only gave fragments of the story. The app showed production. The bill showed consumption. But neither told me:

- š When my system would pay for itself
- ā ļø When Iād owe a bill because production fell short
So I automated everything. I pulled daily data from the electric company and the solar API, combined it, and built a predictive forecast. With just 5 months of training data, the model achieved a normalized error under 14 percent. It now projects future savings and alerts me to risk months in advance.
